2025 Whole and Half Lamb Shares

Buying lamb meat directly from us is the best way to support our small family farm. It's also the best way for customers to have lamb meat at a fantastic price while spending money in your local economy.

We know this is new to many people though and many times they have a few questions.

How much comes with a lamb share?

Customer cost is determined by the hang weight. Estimate the hang weight of a whole lamb share to be around 50 pounds. You'll take home a variety of retail cuts in the end which is typically about 35 pounds, depending on what cuts you decide to get.

What cuts come with a lamb share?

With any butcher, you'll need to let them know some choices. Generally though, you'll get a mix of some different cuts.

What are the costs?

You can order in halves or wholes.

$6.00/lb (paid to Twisted Oaks Farm) + processing (paid to butcher)

Pickup will be at Reasons Locker in Buffalo Prairie, IL. Prices are paid on hang weight, which means we'll give you your total after we get that number from the butcher.

When do I order cuts and pickup?

December 2025. We will give the butcher your name and phone number. Then we will let you know that you need to call the butcher to give them your choices of cuts. When everything is ready they will call you. We'll be in touch around then too to make sure everything goes smoothly.

We are sold out for the 2025 season.
